Forever remembered as the man who broke the color barrier in baseball, Hall of Fame second baseman Jackie Robinson revolutionized the game with his rare combination of speed and ability to hit for average. Robinson signed this circa 1955 8x10 portrait, taken by famed New York photographer James Kriegsmann, in vivid black ink. It includes the inscription “To the boys and girls of Warring with best wishes. Sincerely Jackie Robinson.” The photo shows signs of creasing and has several pin holes in all four corners. The result is a small piece of the border missing in the lower right corner, which in no way impacts signature. The signed photograph comes with a JSA LOA.
