From a rare personal signing, Gregg Allman, legendary guitarist and front man for the Allman Brothers has signed and inscribed the body of this Fender “Squier” electric guitar, “…and the road goes on forever! Gregg Allman 2013,” in bold black sharpie pen. Not only rare, but Allman’s inscription epitomizes the bands legacy of having triumphed following the motorcycle death of Gregg’s brother Duane with whom he founded the band just months after their 1971 breakthrough release of the album, “At Fillmore East.” “The Road Goes On Forever,” also became the band’s first compilation album, released in 1975 with tracks from their first five albums.
