For 20 summers Reggie Jackson never failed to make an impression both on the field and off. His immense confidence may have rubbed some the wrong way but his ability to come through when he was needed most is what made him the most charismatic ballplayer since Babe Ruth. This great game straddles the three teams that Reggie Jackson spent the first half of his Hall of Fame career with: The Oakland A's, Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees. During the 1971-1979 period this bat dates to, Jackson won five World Series rings, was twice voted World Series MVP, one AL MVP, twice the AL's home run champ and one-time RBI champ. Both the A's and Yanks have retired his number and the baseball writers voted Mr. October into Cooperstown on his first ballot. Reggie’s Adirondack 288RJ model bat shows heavy use with a repaired handle crack. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are found on the barrel along with blue bat rack paint streaks. Please note that the game use can not be attributed to Jackson as indicated in the LOA . Letter of Authenticity (1B05846) from PSA/DNA.
