The addition of Yasiel Puig to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2013 completely breathed new life into a struggling club. In one of the most exciting rookie seasons in recent memory, the energetic Puig almost singlehandedly led the Dodgers to a post-season berth. Puig hit a scorching .471 in the NLDS against Atlanta and had 5 hits including a triple in the NLCS against the Cards. Puig used this bat during Game 4 of the 2013 NLDS. MLB has authenticated it as being the one Puig broke while hitting a single against Freddy Garcia in the bottom of the 4th inning. A photo taken at the moment of contact shows this to be the same bat. The Old Hickory YP66 shows outstanding use with the a fore mentioned handle crack. As befits the Dodgers slugger, many ball marks with stitch impressions are visible on the barrel including blue ink transfers. Cleat imprints are seen and a moderate coat of Mota Stick is found on the handle. The bat was authenticated by MLB EK658269 and PSA/DNA has graded this great bat a GU 9.5.
