The New York Yankees swept the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 1927 World Series, marking the first time an American League team had swept a National League team. This 20-page program was issued for either Game 3 or Game 4 of the 1927 World Series between the Yankees and Pirates at Yankee Stadium. The cover features large portrait images of each club's respective manager, Miller Huggins and Owen Bush, while the interior pages include photos of league and team officials, as well as portraits of 25 members of both the Yankees and Pirates. The un-scored pre-printed lineups include Ruth, Gehrig, Lazzeri, Meusel, Combs, and Pennock for New York, and P. Waner, L. Waner, and Traynor for Pittsburgh. This unscored program is in excellent condition with clean cover (light edge wear), clean pages and a full, intact spine.
