Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby is no stranger to piling up points when he’s on the ice. A Game 3 meeting with the Rangers on May 5, 2014 was no exception for the top player in the NHL today. Offered is the game puck that Crosby wristed by Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist on a breakaway 2:34 into the second period for the eventual game-winning tally in a 2-0 Penguins win. The playoff puck, which features a Rangers logo on one side and Stanley Cup Playoffs logo on the other, is wrapped with a band of white tape with the following inscriptions in blue sharpie: “5-5-14 NYR v PIT,” “PIT 1,” “2:34 2nd period,” “87G 41A 14A.” The puck shows heavy signs of game use and is accompanied by a Steiner Sports LOA and holographic sticker, number “208119.”
