Two-time World Series champion and famed MLB broadcaster Tim McCarver is a baseball lifer who struck around for 21 seasons in the Majors before moving to the television booth. This game-used McCarver bat likely comes from 1973-74, his final seasons with the Cardinals based on the number “15” written on both the knob and the top of the barrel. McCarver only wore number “15” during his time in St. Louis, where he earned both of his World Series rings. The Hillerich & Bradsby MC53 model ash bat features a flame-burned finish, measures 35.5 inches and weighs in at 33.4 ounces. The game-used bat shows light evidence, remains un-cracked and is accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “1B09582.”
