Given its large dimensions and vulnerable cardboard medium, it's a wonder that this popular game has survived at all—let alone in such a presentable state of preservation. Matty, who stands a full 16" tall, is little affected by the typical surrounding wear and staining (though there is a light pencil notation of "Ball Strike" on his cheek). What's more, the game-board spinner remains smoothly operational. This "Big Six" example clearly saw its share of active play, with penciled numerals in the scoring grid and surface pinhole impressions at all the usual locations (dugouts, player positions and bases). However, the print remains bright and largely unfaded, and both the detached lid and the game board are quite sturdy. Only the reverse side of the lid (where Matty is pictured in a game of "Big Six") shows heavy wear due to mounting vestiges. Otherwise, GD condition overall. The game's "Scorecard" board is missing and not included.
