American politician from the state of Tennessee, Cordell Hull was the longest serving Secretary of State in U.S. history, serving under the administration of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. In 1945 Hull received the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in helping to establish the United Nations. Cordell Hull signed the letter along the bottom in black ink. Item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
