Vince Lombardi, considered to be one of the NFL’s best coaches, coached the Green Bay Packers to five National Football League championships. The NFL’s Super Bowl trophy is named in his honor and he was enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971. This 13.5” x 19.5” frame displays a signed check by the famed head coach who was known for his strong will and determination on and off the field. The check dated, 8-8-1959, is signed by Lombardi in black ink on the signature line which reads, “General MGR.” This check features the account holders name as, “Green Bay Packers, Inc.” and from the bank of, “Kellogg-Citizens National Bank of Green Bay, Wisconsin.” The check measures, 3” x 8” and this framed display also includes a photograph measuring approximately 6” x 8” of Lombardi in a black suit and tie with his arms crossed behind his back. Item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA.
