Third baseman Pablo Sandoval capped an amazing performance in the 2014 World Series by going 3-for-3 with a pair of runs in the San Francisco Giants’ 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals in Game 7 of the Fall Classic. “Kung Fu Panda” sported this signed, game-used grey button-down Giants road jersey during that series-clinching victory over the Royals. Sandoval signed the jersey on the reverse side “8” of his number “48” uniform in bold, silver sharpie along with the inscriptions “Game Used 2014 World Series” and “W.S Champs Game #7.” The front of the jersey features “SAN FRANCISCO” across the chest in black on orange and gold tackle twill, with a commemorative 2014 World Series patch on the right sleeve and San Francisco Giants Baseball Club patch on the left sleeve. Sandoval’s number “48” is found on the reverse side in black on orange and gold tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label with “2014” and size “52” tags below. The jersey shows heavy evidence of game use, with a prominent dirt stain in the stomach region likely from when Sandoval slid into third base in the fourth inning of the game on sacrifice fly. The signed, game-used jersey comes with a PSA/DNA LOA and is certified under the MLB Authentication program, verification number “HZ379768.”
