The start of what is sure to be a Hall-of-Fame career for Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki began to take shape in his second season in the NBA, when the 13-time All-Star and 2011 league champion averaged 17.5 points per game, the first of 16 straight seasons of the power forward posting double figures scoring. This blue game-used Nowitzki jersey from the 1999-00 season features “DALLAS” across the chest above the former league MVP’s number “41,” both in white on green tackle twill. “NOWITZKI” is featured across the top back in white tackle twill above his number “41,” which appears again in white on green tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey boasts a Nike manufacturer’s label with size “54” shown and a “LENGTH +4” tag attached below. This was the last year the Mavs wore this rare style jersey. The jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with LOAs from MEARS and noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
