2011 was the breakout year for standout pitcher Clayton Kershaw. His 21-5 record, league low 2.28 ERA and league high 248 strikeouts, earned him his first of three Cy Young Awards. Offered is a road jersey Kershaw wore during the 2011 season. Kershaw jerseys from this season are exceedingly rare, relative to others in his early career. This gray button-down jersey features “Los Angeles” in blue script with an underline running diagonally across the chest sewn on in blue tackle twill. Number “22” is sewn on in red on the center left chest and the back of this size 50 Majestic Athletic jersey has “KERSHAW” and “22” sewn directly on in blue. Each sleeve has a single blue piping around the sleeve, with the right sleeve having the Majestic logo embroidered in blue and the interlocking “LA” sewn on in blue. The right sleeve has a memorial black circle with a white number 4 patch sewn on in honor of Hall of Fame Duke Snider who passed away that year. The inside of the back collar has a gray team tag sewn in gray with black embroidery that reads: “22 Kershaw 50 2011”. This jersey shows moderate game use and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
