Graded EX-MT 6 by PSA. Hall of Famer, and a scarcer “High Number” entry. Pee Wee Reese was the heart and soul of the Brooklyn Dodgers from 1940 through the end of the team's East Coast operation in 1957, and this attractive Topps card is a worthy commemorative of the shortstop's great career. Its subject's splendidly painted portrait (aligned just slightly toward the right) shines through a pleasing depth of clear, original gloss on the item's front. The card’s corners are notably well-formed and solid with mere hints of wear visible only at the right-side aspects. This is a card that has maintained a pleasing level of quality in refinement and preservation. Satisfying Excellent to Mint condition.
