The 1946 World Series was a classic battle between the Boston Red Sox and St. Louis Cardinals, ultimately won by the redbirds on Enos Slaughters famous “Mad Dash” in Game 7. This World Series also marked Ted Williams’ only post-season appearance. Offered is a collection of five ticket stubs including one ticket from Games 1 & 6 from Sportsman’s Park in St. Louis and three tickets from Fenway Park (Game 3 and two Game 4’s). The Game 1 ticket from Sportsman’s Park has a stain on the bottom right corner and the Game 6 ticket also has a minor blemish on the bottom right corner. The Game 3 Fenway Park ticket is still intact, but has some paper loss. The two Game 4 Fenway Park tickets are in good shape.
