Offered is a 97-card near set of scarce 1956 Topps "Hocus Focus" multi-sport and non-sports cards, including uncut panels and instruction cards. In it's as-issued primitive form, consumers were instructed to "wet" (meaning apply saliva to these cards) the blank surface, expose it to sunlight and "presto" - the photo image reveals someone famous! These cards are excruciatingly difficult to locate in any condition, and the baseball-subjects are highly sought-after.
