What an October of 1978 Bucky Dent had for the New York Yankees. First, he hit one of the most memorable home runs in baseball history of Red Sox pitcher Mike Torres in the tie-breaker game at Fenway Park that propelled the Yankees into the playoffs. Then, Dent capped off the 1978 post-season by capturing the World Series MVP as the Yankees defeated the Dodgers in six games. Dent signed his name in bold blue ink and inscribed “78 W.S. MVP” on the panel with the faded out “75th World Series” logo. This baseball was used during the 1978 World Series and shows excellent game use. This baseball comes with a full LOA from Bill North for its game use and a COA from PSA/DNA (Z19974) for Dent’s signature.
