Davy Johnson was the right man for the job of managing the 1986 Mets to a World Championship. Perhaps no other skipper could have handled all the egos and spirited personalities that made up the greatest team in Mets history. Johnson used this bat during his best summers at the helm of the Mets, most likely to demonstrate how he used to do it back in his days with the Orioles. The Louisville Slugger B267 model bat shows light use and his number "5" is written on the knob. Johnson has signed the bat's barrel in black marker. Letter of Authenticity (1B06468) from PSA/DNA.
