Not many ballplayers can come back from a ruptured hamstring, but in 1969 that's exactly what Harmon Killebrew did. In fact, The Killer didn't just return to the line up, but he made '69 the best season of his career by leading the AL in home runs, RBI and on base percentage. His return to the Twins helped take them into the post season and when the dust settle, Killebrew was the leagues Most Valuable Player. The Killer's Hillerich & Bradsby S207 model bat shows tremendous game use and is un-cracked. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch impressions along with cleat imprints. There is some slight checking on the barrel and some light water staining. There is a light coat of pine tar still visible on the handle and the whole bat has a very warm, golden patina from age. Hall of Famer game used bats don't get any better than this. Letter of Authenticity (1B06447) from PSA/DNA.
