When choosing names for the Mount Rushmore of NFL Quarterbacks, Dan Marino will undoubtedly make the cut. Without question one of the greats at the position, Marino’s accomplishments during his 17 year career are unrivalled among his peers. In his 2nd full season in the NFL in 1984, Marino won the NFL MVP, throwing a then-record 48 touchdowns while becoming the first quarterback to throw for 5,000 yards in a season. At the time of his retirement in 1999, he held countless NFL records, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
This Miami Dolphins white jersey, made by Wilson, was game worn by Dan Marino during the 1991 season. Marino threw for 3,970 yards and 25 touchdowns during that season while starting all 16 games for the Dolphins. Jersey bears Marino’s retired number 13 on the front, back, and both shoulders, with Marino’s name on the back. The Dolphins logo is found on both sleeves. Jersey shows some slight wear in the stitching on both sleeves, and some staining throughout. Jersey is accompanied by a note stating that it was originally purchased at the Miami Dolphins Fan Fest, and all proceeds from the sale will go to the Dolphins Foundation. Item comes with an NFL Authentication sticker from PSA/DNA located on the inside of the neck below the collar 1N23022 which matches "Marino Game Used Jersey" in PSA database.
