Few players in recent memory have had such an immediate impact not just on their team, but on the game of baseball, as Mike Trout. Since his first call up to the Major Leagues in 2011, Trout’s legend has grown exponentially. In just 4 short seasons, Trout has been named to 4 All-Star games (twice being named MVP of the game), won the American League Rookie of the Year Award in 2012 and the American League MVP in 2014. On April 17, 2015, he became the youngest player in MLB history to reach 100 home runs and 100 stolen bases. And the very next day, Mike Trout wore this uniform in a road game in Houston, TX. This 2015 Los Angeles Angels road jersey is the 1960’s throwback uniform game worn by Mike Trout on April 18, 2015, for the 1965 Turn-Back-the-Clock game between the Los Angeles Angels and the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park. The game commemorated the 50th anniversary of the opening of the Houston Astrodome and the renaming of the Houston Colt .45s to the Houston Astros. The Astros defeated the Angels 4-0 on this occasion, while Trout took the collar, going 0-4 to drop his early season batting average to .400. The Jersey sports only the #27, with no name on the back. Uniform shows game usage, and consists of jersey, pants and cap. The jersey and pants are authenticated with MLB Hologram Authentication sticker #HZ733651, while the cap comes with MLB Hologram Authentication #HZ733725. Still in the midst of what could be another MVP campaign in 2015, Mike Trout continues to terrorize opposing pitchers as he builds his Hall of Fame resume.
