Before he was “The Greatest”, Muhammad Ali was Cassius Clay, a relatively unknown light-heavyweight from Louisville, KY. The 1960 Rome Olympics changed that, as Clay took the Gold Medal in the 178-Pound division by soundly defeating Polish Boxer Ziggy Pietrzykowski . This framed 11X14 photo of Ali, still Clay at the time, wearing his gold medal with 2 of his Olympic teammates, is signed “Muhammad Ali” in gold, and inscribed 97/200 Ltd. Ed. Photo is tagged with an All-American Collectibles hologram, and is framed above a 1960 Olympic Closing Day ticket. Both photograph and ticket are matted on dark brown, and centered in an approx. 22” X 25” gold frame. Item is accompanied by a COA from All American Collectibles.
