This 1933 Goudey #144 Babe Ruth is an absolutely stunning example of what many consider to be the epitome of what a classic, vintage card should be. The Ruth image of him following through on a swing is one of the most recognizable images in the card collecting world and the one on this card is stunning. The vivid colors combined with virtually perfect registration are in stark contrast to the clean, white borders which frame the very well centered image. Every aspect of this card seems to beg for a half or full grade higher than the one it has however one tiny "nick" in the right border (most likely from the factory cut) seems to have prevented this beauty from receiving the grade that it seemingly deserves. This card appears to minimally NM+ and would actually compare favorably to most examples graded NM-MT.
