Over the course of 9 seasons with the New York Yankees, Robinson Cano established himself as one of MLB’s elite second baseman, both with his bat and his glove. This grey button-down Yankees road jersey, #24, was game worn by Cano on August 26, 2012, in the Yankees 4-2 victory over the Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. “Robbie” went 2-3 with a double in the game, improving his season average to .309. “NEW YORK” arcs across the chest in navy blue, while Cano’s number “24” can be found on the back, in matching style. The jersey shows moderate game use, with pine tar staining the left shoulder and some dirt stains on the upper back. The front of the jersey appears to have several drip stains, along with a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label on the lower left, accompanied by three tags that read “2012,” “48” and “Taper.” A NY Yankees inventory label below the manufacturer’s tag reads “0000002158.” The jersey comes with a Steiner LOA, and includes an MLB Authentication Hologram Sticker, #EK042772.
