From 1970 to 1976 the Big Red Machine won 5 division titles, 4 pennants and 2 world championships. They're the only team in 75 years to win back-to-back World Series and before the team was broken up they won 953 games against 657 - making them the winningest team of the 1970's. The core of this juggernaut was called "The Great 8" - Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Ken Griffey, George Foster, Dave Concepcion, Joe Morgan, Cesar Geronimo and Tony Perez. Three of those cogs in the Big Red Machine are now in the Hall of Fame: Bench, Morgan and Perez - four if you include their skipper Sparky Anderson - and the only reason Rose ain't there too is because of his banishment from the game. All eight of "The Great 8" have reunited to sign this Rawlings Adirondack Pro bat. Each great has signed in gold pen which jumps right off the black lacquered surface of the bat. A tremendous gathering of what is arguably the best starting squad in the history of the National League. PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity (Z06310).
