On Friday June 25th, 2010 A-Rod hit a solo shot off Vicente Padilla in the 2-1 Yankee win over LA. The homer was Rodriguez's 10th of the year and the 612th of his career - and this is the bat he used to do it. The Louisville Slugger C271L model bat shows excellent use and is un-cracked. Several ball marks with stitch impressions are visible along with white leather ball scuffs and cleat imprints. The date of manufacture "3/18/2010", length "34" and weight "32oz" are stamped into the knob end. A-Rod has signed the bat and inscribed its significance with "Game Used 2010 HR #612 9-26-10" (A-Rod inscribed the wrong date, the HR was actually the day before) in silver marker. A great gamer pinpointed to an exact home run in A-Rod's career. Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B02531) from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a perfect GU10.
