This card of 19th Century Hall of Fame player (manager and later owner) John Ward has a very nice, crisp portrait image giving it extraordinary eye appeal. From the front, this card looks a little off center but certainly well within the criteria for a card grading "EX" or even "EX-MT" which is how this card initially appears, the holder prevents us from being able to inspect the edges to know why this card wasn't given a grade. The back of the card has a bit of damage (album mount?) and some vintage light pencil writing. The highlight of this card is stellar image.
