Offered is a 304-card mostly different collection of Authenticated Ink penny cards which were issued in 2008. Measuring 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" - and produced on thick cardstock - these cards feature black-and-white images or sketches of famous personages, historical figures, mobsters, Presidents, ships, etc. from 1861 (Stonewall Jackson) to 2008 (Barack Obama). With two exceptions (Chief Joseph and Rutherford B. Hayes), each of the cards contain an authentic penny inserted into the card. Highlights include: Daniel Boone, Al Capone, Billy the Kid, David Crockett, Custer, Duke Kahanamoku, John F. Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, Annie Oakley, George S. Patton, Elvis Presley, Ronald Reagan, Elizabeth Taylor, Jim Thorpe and George Washington. The cards present at the NM to MINT level, however, some technically grade lower due to light wrinkling on the reverse.
