Manufactured by Reebok, this size 44 white mesh San Francisco 49ers Jersey, game worn by NFL Hall of Famer Steve Young, features the #8 on the front, back and sleeves in triple tackle twill maroon-on-gold-on-black, with a “YOUNG” nameplate stitched above the number on the back in maroon with black trim lettering. The NFL shield is patched at the base of the collar, the Reebok manufacturer’s tag in the interior collar reads size 44, and the Reebok NFL Pro Line 1997 SF tag is stitched to the front left tail. A Reebok logo is also stitched to each sleeve, above the SF crest which is centered between 3 maroon and black stripes circling each sleeve. This solid Game Used example is topped off with not 1 but 2 signatures from Steve Young. The first, on the upper right chest, in large blue marker, reads “Steve Young SB MVP XXIX”, while the #8 on the back is signed and inscribed in black marker “Steve Young ’97 Gamer’.” The jersey comes with an LOA from Sports Collectors Digest with a Final Game Use grade of A5, along with an LOA from PSA/DNA.
