1977 was a banner year for Reggie Jackson. He hit 32 home runs and drove in 100 runs during the regular season then added 5 post-season home runs, including 3 in the decisive game 6 of the World Series to lead the New York Yankees past the Los Angeles Dodgers. Reggie took home the World Series MVP that year, and earned the nickname Mr. October in the process. Jackson also played in his 7th All-Star Game in 1977, and this signed and inscribed baseball commemorates that day. Reggie Jackson has signed this ball in black ink on the sweet spot, and inscribed on the panel above his name “All-Star Game 7-19-77”. The ball shows heavy toning and game usage, with most of the Official Rawlings labeling heavily faded. Ball comes in a plastic ball cube display case. Game use has been authenticated by MEARS, with an LOA from PSA/DNA for the signature and inscription.
