Graded 60 EX 5 by SGC. Hall of Famer. The fiercely competitive Ty Cobb displays what was doubtless a briefly held expression of passivity on this classic T206 tobacco insert card. His relatively quiescent portrait meshes eloquently with the card's tranquil but powerful character. On the face of the offered example, the likeness of the Hall of Famer is refined in all aspects, with precise focus and lush green back grounding. The collectible, though properly graded in deference to the illustration’s top-leftward alignment, carries marvelous overall visual appeal. The impressive portrayal features a crystal-clear image placed inside snow white borders. Red-inked "Sweet Caporal - 150 Subjects" reverse. Excellent condition.
