Bob Feller is one of only 3 men to throw 3 or more no-hitters in his career, with his 3rd no-no coming against the Detroit Tigers in a 2-1 victory at Cleveland Stadium on July 1, 1951. As if the no-hitter isn’t rare enough, Feller allowed 1 run on no hits, with Detroit manufacturing a run via a throwing error, stolen base and sacrifice fly. This Official Harridge American League ball, used in Feller’s historic 3rd no-hitter, has been signed “Bob Feller #19” in blue ink on the sweet spot. On the panel directly below his signature, Feller has included the inscription “7-1-51 NO HITTER #3 Cleveland Stadium Indians 2 Tigers 1 Game Ball”. The ball shows moderate game use, and includes a black ink “Bob Feller” signature in an unknown hand on a separate panel of the ball. This item is accompanied by an LOA from PSA/DNA.
