This Chicago Cubs flag, nearly 6 feet long and just under 3 feet tall, was flown from the Wrigley Field rooftop in Chicago during the 2015 MLB season. The flag reads “SAMMY” on front and “66” on the back in 15” white letters, on a solid blue background, honoring Sammy Sosa’s historic 1998 season, during which he hit a Cubs record 66 home runs while chasing Roger Maris’s single-season home run record alongside Mark McGwire. The band of the flag is white, with 2 silver eyelets in the corners, used for fastening the flag, and the points of the fly exhibit extensive wear and tear.
