Offered is a moderately used and lightly toned "Official Special Soft Ball" with the large, magnificent signature of Babe Ruth beaming outward from a side panel. The wide strokes of Ruth's autograph are comfortably established against the panel's big field. Ruth must have enjoyed penning this oversized sphere for an excited fan, and probably wondered as he signed it whether he could have launched it over the fence as he did with so many of its smaller counterparts.
