The game's most beloved figure has placed an essentially flawless blue fountain pen signature on this black-and-white illustration taken from Baseball Magazine. The flowing penmanship, reading, "Sincerely - Babe Ruth," radiates clarity and brilliance against its slick paper stock medium. For many years, the publication issued a premium photograph on the inside back cover of each issue (which was intended for youngsters to cut out for display) and the image seen here was used in that series during 1934. This is a hobby favorite, bat-in-hand likeness of the legendary Ruth, adorned with an absolutely superlative signature example. Expensively double-matted and framed to 10" x 8-1/2" dimensions.
