From the time he was a teen Kristaps Porzingis was an instant sensation on the basketball courts of his native Latvia. By the time he stopped growing a 7'-3" Porzingis was playing pro ball in Spain with Sevilla. In no time NBA scouts were flying to Europe to see him but it was the Knicks who landed him for the 2015 season. This jersey was worn by Kristaps Porzingis during his NBA home debut at Madison Square Garden on October 29, 2015. The Latvian import scored 16 points with 5 rebounds as New York crushed Milwaukee 122-97. The white mesh jersey has "NEW YORK" and Porzingis' number "6" below in orange, silver and blue tackle twill. Orange, blue and silver ribbing caps off the neck and sleeve openings. Adidas 3XL label is sewn in the lower left tail with "LENGTH +4" tagging added. The label has "v ATLANTA HAWKS" and the date of Porzingis' debut "10.29.15 MSG". NBA Authentics label is adjacent with number "NKN05110". The back has Porzingis ached across the shoulder in blue tackle twill letters and his number "6" below in orange, blue and white tackle twill. A microphone patch is sewn to the inside of the jersey. This was the only jersey Porzingis wore during his NBA home debut (he did not switch jerseys at the half), making this jersey Porzingis’ first full-game NBA regular season jersey (he switched jerseys at the half for his previous road game).
