Perhaps no single play in NFL History helped to define a franchise as “The Catch”, the 6-yard touchdown pass from Joe Montana to Dwight Clark that won the 1981 NFC Championship Game and propelled the Niners to their 1^st of 5 Super Bowl victories.  This fantastic piece, a Riddell Official San Francisco 49ers Full Size Helmet, is signed by both Montana and Clark.  1 of the 2 men, likely Montana, has transcribed the playcall into X’s and O’s above the team logo, including the final “TD!” Inscription, and then added a second inscription which reads “The Catch 1.10.82” beneath the logo.  All beautifully rendered in black Sharpie, this eye-catching signed helmet comes with an LOA from JSA.  To relive “The Catch”, click here.
