This ball was pitched by Kershaw in the 4th inning to 2013 National League Home Run Champion Pedro Alvarez for a MLB authenticated 'foul ball' & the 1st strike of the at-bat...Alvarez struck out in the same at-bat for Kershaw's 2nd strikeout of the game ~ so this makes this ball strikeout used; he finished with 8 K's total in the game. Kershaw was also the 2013 NL Strikeout Champion with 232 K's to end the season. The Dodgers won the game 5-3 for their 29th 2013 National League West Championship Season Win.
