Stunning navy blue and gold New York Titans throwback uniform worn by Burress in the Jets September 18, 2011 32-3 win over the Jaguars. The jersey shows game use with just a small amount of staining on the front and back. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “09-44”. Sleeves feature the “Reebok” patch and are shortened with an ribbed hem. Buress' number “17” appears on the front, back and on both shoulders. The “NFL EQUIPMENT” patch is on the front V-Neck. Inside the front right tail is a printed sticker from josports.com confirming this jersey as having been worn by Plaxico Burress in the 9/18/11 game vs. Carolina Panthers. “BURRESS” appears on back in gold tackle twill on a navy blue nameplate. Burress has signed the “1” on the back of the jersey with “Plaxico Burress 17” and the “7” with “GAME WORN 9-18 vs JAX” in black marker. The gold pants with navy and white stripes shows moderate game use including staining on the seat. Inside the waistband has the Reebok/NFL Equipment tagging with an added white tag imprinted with “38 SHORT. To the left of that is a white strip tag with “08”. “17 SOCKS ATTACHED” is hand-written on the waistband in black marker. The navy blue belt is included as are the navy blue socks with gold and white striping. A sharp-looking and unique uniform from one of the popular throwback games.
