In 1992 a young Gary Sheffield was playing in his first All Star game, and was a fan at heart. Gary took one of his game bats and had the opposing American League team sign it for him. It includes a lineup of future Hall of Famers, 22 signatures in all, including the late Kirby Puckett, Cal Ripken jr, Roger Clemens, Roberto Alomar, Mike Mussina, Paul Molitor, Joe Carter, mgr Tom Kelly and more.
