Kelly was one of the premier players of the 19th Century and a fan favorite. Although not the quickest runner in Baseball his base running instincts were extremely noteworthy with a career high 84 stolen bases in 1887 although statistics are somewhat sketchy from that era. This card, from the era Kelly seemed to make his biggest mark on Baseball history, is at the lower end of the spectrum in terms of grade but still provides the opportunity to own an important relic from the dawn of professional Baseball.
