1920 was the year that Babe Ruth made his debut with the New York Yankees, this W520 card is from that historic year. Ruth didn't just show up on the Yankees he changed the way the game of Baseball would be played forever. Ruth set a new record, hitting 54 home runs and smashing the old record, set by him the previous year when he hit 29. If you exclude his own record from 1919, Babe Ruth hit twice as many home runs in 1920 as the previous record holder. This card, from that game changing year, is one of only eight examples to be authenticated by PSA with only one example receiving a number grade.
