It took Miguel Cabrera’s Triple Crown season to keep Mike Trout from becoming the AL’s 2012 MVP. Didn’t really matter since Trout took home the AL Rookie of the Year Award and Silver Slugger Award after having one of the finest rookie seasons ever. The Angels outfielder was selected as July’s AL MVP and AL Rookie of the Month and appeared in the 2012 All-Star Game where he went 1 for 1 and stole a base. Beautiful two-color Mike Trout model Old Hickory bat. Trout has signed the bat in contrasting silver ink along the notation “2012 AL RoY”. A numbered MLB hologram sticker is affixed to the barrel.
