After slumping badly in the 2009 post season, Nick Swisher reinvented his swing and literally tore through AL pitching in 2010. The Yankees first baseman hit a career high .288 with 29 home runs and made the All-Star team. This Louisville Slugger D195L shows outstanding use and is un-cracked. There are many ball marks and stitch impressions on the barrel with white leather ball scuffs and blue ink transfers. Cleat impressions are visible as is the imprint of a weighted batting donut. The handle has been taped approximately 7” from the knob in a spiral crisscross pattern to enhance the grip. A moderate coat of pine tar is found on the handle. The date of manufacture “3/19/2010”, length “34” and weight “31 oz” are stamped into the knob end. Swisher has signed the barrel in gold marker adding “Game Used”. This bat comes with a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA (1B02577) who have graded this bat a perfect GU10 and a COA from PSA/DNA (AB98604).
