Cedric 'Cornbread' Maxwell played 11 seasons in the NBA and had a key role in the Boston Celtics championship seasons in 1981 and 1984. Specifically, in 1981 Maxwell was named the MVP of the NBA Finals and in 1984 Maxwell scored 24 points against the Los Angeles Lakers in a decisive game seven victory that gave the Celtics the title.
This Sand Knit size 44 blue mesh Los Angeles Clippers road jersey was game worn by Maxwell during the 1986-87 NBA season. The jersey has all appropriate lettering, numbering and tagging in place and exhibits light to moderate wear.
The jersey comes with LOAs from the Athletic Trainer and Assistant Strength and Conditioning for the Denver Nuggets who personally obtained the jersey during his time with the Nuggets as well as noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
