Former NBA point-guard Stephon Marbury’s 13-season career that included stops with the Minnesota Timberwolves, New Jersey Nets, Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks and Boston Celtics, had him finish his career with 16,297 total points. One of his best seasons came during the 2002-03 season when he was with the Phoenix Suns. Marbury averaged 22.3 points per game that season and earned one of his two all-star selections.
Marbury wore this Western Conference All-Star uniform during the 2003 All-Star game at Phillips Arena in Atlanta. The Western Conference won the game 155-145 in double overtime as Marbury chipped in with four points in 15 minutes of action. This size 46 Reebok red heavy mesh jersey features “NBA” sewn on in white and blue tackle twill across the chest, with the NBA logo patch to its left. Marbury’s number “3” is sewn on in white with “ALL-STAR” sewn on in white and blue tackle twill below the “3”. Down each side of the jersey are six screen-printed white stars with blue outlines and the collar and arm openings are outlined in a white and blue ribbed pattern. The back of the jersey has “MARBURY” and his number “3” stitched on in white tackle twill, with the Phoenix Suns logo patch sewn on the base of the neck. The Reebok ALL-STAR GAME ATLANTA 2003” tag has the size 46 flap and “+2 LENGTH” flap on each side and a “hardwood classics vintage” tag with a white “1987-88”patch.
The matching size 40 red Reebok shorts have a white/blue/white waistband with a draw string. Down the outside of each leg is “WEST” sewn on in white and blue tackle twill with screen printed white and blue stars on each side. The bottom of the shorts has the same white/blue/white striping pattern and the NBA logo patch is sewn on the upper right hip. The Reebok ALL-STAR GAME ATLANTA 2003” tag with the size 40 flap and “+1 INSEAM” and “+1 RISE” flaps are sewn on the inside back waist. This game used all-star jersey and pants set comes with a COA from the NBA verifying Marbury wore this during the 2003 NBA All-Star Game in Atlanta.
