Best known for the surgical procedure that bears his name, Tommy John was pretty solid pitcher too. John won 288 career games in his 26 seasons and spent three-plus years with the California Angels.

      Offered is the Angels road jersey worn by John during the 1983-84 seasons. This pullover road gray size 46 W. A. Goodman & Sons jersey features “Angels” across the chest in red and navy blue tackle twill. The “A” in “Angels” has the yellow halo and John’s number “25” is sewn on in red and navy blue on the left center front. The back of the jersey has “JOHN” and “25” sewn on in red and navy blue tackle twill directly to the jersey. The left sleeve has the “California” state patch and the collar, along with each sleeve end has a ribbed navy blue/red/navy blue pattern. The “W.A. Goodman & Sons” tag is sewn on the bottom front left tail. This jersey shows moderate game use with some stains on the front of the jersey and comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
