Hubie Brooks spent the first five seasons with the New York Mets. After six seasons away from New York with the Dodgers (five seasons), and the Montreal Expos (one season), Brooks returned to the Mets for the 1991 season where he appeared in 103 games and hit 16 home runs and drove in 50.
Offered is the button-down Rawlings New York Mets road gray jersey worn by Brooks during the 1991 season. This size 46 jersey features “NEW YORK” sewn on across the chest in blue, orange and white tackle twill. The back of the jersey has “BROOKS” and his number “7” sewn on in blue, orange and white tackle twill. Each sleeve has a ribbed orange/blue/orange vertical stripe outlined in white from the neck to the sleeve end and each side of the jersey has the same vertical stripe pattern. The size 46 Rawlings tag along with a “91R” patch is sewn on the inside bottom front tail and the jersey shows light to moderate game use with some stains on the back. This jersey comes with a full LOA from noted game used jersey expert Dave Miedema.
