Despite a tumultuous career, Alex Rodriguez’s name still stands alongside baseball’s all-time greats in nearly every significant offensive statistic. On May 27, 2015 at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY, A-Rod further solidified his legacy, clubbing a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third- inning off Kansas City Royals starter Chris Young. With the round-tripper, Rodriguez collected career RBI # 1993, 1994 and 1995, the last of which pulled him even with the Iron Horse, Lou Gehrig for fifth on the all-time list. This is the ball A-Rod knocked into the stands for that three-run shot, the 665th home run of his career. Rodriguez has signed the heavily used game ball in blue ink on the sweet spot, adding the inscription “1993, 1994, 1995 RBI” on the south panel. The ball has been tagged with MLB Authentication hologram #HZ883038, and is also accompanied by a Steiner COA and Steiner LOA (220726).
