For Hall of Famer Barry Larkin, the 1995 season was arguably the best of his career. Larkin batted .319 with 15 home runs and 66 RBI and was the National League MVP. He helped lead the Reds to an 85-59 record and the National League Central Division title.
Offered is the home white with red pinstripe button-down jersey worn by Larking during his 1995 MVP season. This size 46 Russell Athletic jersey has the “REDS” logo sewn on the upper left chest in red and white with Larkin’s “11” sewn on the upper right chest red, both in tackle twill. The Russell Athletic logo, along with the size 46 tag and “BARRY LARKIN 1995 MVP” tag are sewn on the bottom front left tail. The back of the jersey has “LARKIN” and his number “11” sewn on in red tackle twill with a red Russell Athletic logo embroidered at the base of the neck. Larkin signed and inscribed “WITHOUT A DOUBT You were the best 2nd baseman I played with! Good Luck! Barry Larkin ’95 N.L. M.V.P.” in black marker to his former teammate Bret Boone. The jersey shows light game use and is in good condition. This jersey comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AA07655) for his signature and inscription and a LOA from former Major League player Bret Boone, verifying that this game used jersey was given to him by Barry Larkin.
